Keep in mind that:

- The Thermic Black coating does not need to be removed before installation. It will wear away naturally in the pad swept area after the first 10 to 20 stops.
- Do not use brake cleaner or any other method to remove the Thermic Black coating, as this action is not covered under EBC warranty.
